Day 2 saw battle recommence as all of the competitors naturally headed where all roads lead, historic Rome. For some, dreams of winning were soon in ruins, but everyone taking part left the Italian capital with a few legendary tales of their own before speeding back to Ferrara on the return leg of the rally.
