Remember Rinspeed? The Swiss tuner and auto designer known for imaginative concepts will again showcase one of its creations at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
The MicroMax is designed as a shared ride. Using smartphones, the MicroMax can see others who want to go in the same direction. Think taxi, but personally owned and operated.

"Modern ride share centers nowadays are web-based or Smartphone-based," said Rinspeed founder Frank Rinderknecht. "They operate in real time: You need to go to work on a regular basis or want to go somewhere right now and in no time at all you find the driver that'll give you a ride. 'MicroMax' with its unique upright seats is the perfect 'thing' for swift short-distance transfers - the car to go with the app," said Rinderknecht.
Don't expect to see the MicroMax the road anytime soon as it is only a concept. And in typical Rinspeed fashion, these concepts are meant to inspire solutions, rather than serve as one itself.
