Look at it and you will know that Honda CB Trigger 150 is a new Avatar of Honda CB Dazzler.
The bike itself looked very elegant, this new model is molded to give a more pleasing look so it can attract more people towards it. The dimensions of the bike has been kept according to average Indian riders so the bike can suit most of the riders, the following are, length is 2045 mm, width is 757mm and height is 1060 mm. The ground clearance of the bike is 175 mm whereas the wheelbase is of 1325 mm. The kerb weight of the machine is 137 Kg. The wheels attached are 6 spoke alloy wheels whose specifications are the front tyre is 80/100-17 M/C 46P whereas the rear tyre is 110/80-17 M/C 57P. To make it competitive features gifted to the bike are upright sitting position, fully digital instrument cluster, wide seat, black alloy wheels, kick start, full gear lever, full chain case, diamond frame, monoshock rear suspension, 240mm front disc brakes, 220mm rear disc brakes, tubeless tyres, LED tail light, viscous air filter and maintenance free battery. Also it has a Advance Design Diamond Frame type chassis. The Combi brake system which Honda uses in its scooters is also featuring in this bike which is a first time feature for any Indian bike.
Engine and Performance
Honda CB Trigger 150 is powered by a Air Cooled, 4 Stroke, SI Engine with a displacement of 149.1 cc. The engine is quite capable, the maximum power developes by it is 14 bhp of 8500rpm with a maximum torque value of 12.5 Nm which can be obtained at 6500rpm. It is the same engine which was previously found in the former, CB Dazzler. So the engine comes mated to the 5 speed manual transmission gearbox which has a 1 down and 4 up gear shift pattern. The top speed of the bike is 103 Kmph.
Braking and Handling
Honda Cb Trigger 150 is designed to give a perfect handling. The all new and first time featuring CBS (Combi Braking System) provides the rider a much better braking facility and reduces up to 32% of stopping distance. There is 240mm dia disc brakes equipped at the front wheel and 220 mm dia disc brakes at the rear which functions with CBS system. The motorcycle comes with a Telescopic Suspension at the front with a Mono suspension at the rear. The monoshock suspensions present improves the stability alongside assist the rider while taking sharp turns, as it centralise the mass. There is also a wider rear which enhances the look of the bike and provides a better grip on the road’s surface.
