Maruti Grand Vitara(Launch soon)
The Grand Vitara has not been as successful as its stablemates. Primarily due to its thirsty petrol engine. Now with rivals coming in like the new Chevrolet Captiva, things are not looking good for this SUV. But Maruti is Maruti- a master of the Indian market and knows the car buyer unlike anyone else. We think the Vitara can do well again if this face-lifted verson is introduced in the market. Suzuki has launched a new model year version of the domestic market Grand Vitara, which is called Escudo in Japan. On the outside, the facelift brings a newly designed front grille with twin-bars in the shape of wings, a tweaked bumper that gains black trim, black headlamp bezels and new alloy wheel styles. One thing that has also changed is that the spare rear wheel on the tailgate has moved to the license plate holder. Inside the interior sees new materials and colors for the seats and door panels which make the dark cabin more exciting and sporty.
These changes are not big but might change the fortunes of this SUV.
