Triumph Street Triple(Launch soon)

Triumph Street Triple upcoming
Triumphs Street Triple is a huge success all over the world and now it is coming to India. Street Triple combines the looks of the big 1050cc Speed Triple with the size and speed of the Daytona 675 making it an incredibly capable bike and has been there since 2007. The 2012 upgrade of the bike has gone thru a visual as well as many mechanical upgrades and refinements. As the name suggests the Street Triple is powered by a 675cc inline-three cylinder engine which produces 105bhp at the crank and 68Nm of torque which is good enough for the bike for all kind of antics. The 675cc motor is quite predictable and the linear power curve has always been one of the bikes best attributed. The EFI on the bike performs almost flawlessly and the throttle response is brilliant. Street Triple handles as well as it looks, be it your normal commute, weekend track days or touring, it performs well everywhere. It boasts an Aluminum beam twin-spar frame with fully adjustable inverted Kayaba forks and fully adjustable Kayaba Monoshock in the rear. Handling is further aided by Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tires and braking on the bike is handled by Dual four-piston radial mounted calipers upfront and single piston Nissin at rear. The Street triple is blessed with steady handling at high speeds with responsive but predictable turn –in for cornering. The Street Triple’s motor has the same exhilarating acceleration as the Daytona’s, but with even more torque coming online even earlier. This means that on curvy country roads you can hold a single gear and work the throttle, although it’s far more enjoyable to work the gearbox and revel in the three-cylinder motor’s glorious muted howl, expressed via those great-sounding twin underseat cans.
It looks fabulous, the hexagonal lights, naked styling, twin underseat exhausts will make admiration guaranteed. Street Triple should be up for sale by the last quarter of 2012 and by the way it has been priced at 5.75lakhs it is very clear that, it is going to attract a lot of customers towards it and is surely going to be the most selling Triumph in India.
