And since dark and burnt are on the daily menu at Wrenchmonkees, complying with Timothee's wish was only too easy. The CB750K7 hot an engine job: a Wiseco kit expanded the displacement to 836cc, for increased power and nerve, while conical, open air filters and a custom 4-into-2 exhaust took care of the bike's "breathing". Oh, and awesome finned covers were installed, as well!
The stance of the bike was also tuned, as the Wrenchmonkees went for a pair of 300mm shocks in the rear and fork was lowered some 60mm, too. The bike is now shod with Dunlop K655 in the rear and D401 in the front.
A new ignition was installed, and a complete rewiring job was done, including Dyna coils and a lightweight 700 grams Li-Ion battery. The tank was sourced from a '70 Suzuki GS400 and is a wonderful match for the custom seat: we love the way this bike grown slightly wider form rear towards the front, all in a smooth, sleek line.
