Daniel Craig unveils new Range Rover Sport 2013

star Daniel Craig brought New York to a standstill as he drove the new
Range Rover Sport through Manhattan as part of a dramatic live launch on
the streets of the US city.
Craig’s star drive was the closing scene in a film being made to mark the car’s launch – which aired live online as the new Range Rover Sport was launched.
He
starts at the Land Rover plant in Solihull; the car is then shipped in
darkness over to Manhattan, across the Manhattan Bridge, through closed
tunnels and then through the city.

The
finale was Craig piloting the car through the closed-off New York
streets – live – before driving it into Moynihan Station on 8th Avenue
so the new Range Rover Sport could make its official world debut. It
proceeded with perfect timing and drew cheers from the crowd.
There
to watch it were hundreds of guests, celebrities including Zara
Phillips, Simon and Yasmin Le Bon and Thierry Henry. Oh, and MSN Cars
itself, which was there to watch the whole dramatic launch live and
check out the new Range Rover Sport – set to cost from £51,550 (approx.
$78,000) when it launches in August – in the metal.
