In Japan, Honda said it will launch both a hybrid and gasoline model of the Vezel.
The hybrid model will be equipped with Honda’s Sport Hybrid i-DCD that combines a 1.5 liter direct injection engine with a high-output electric motor; the gasoline model will be equipped with a 1.5 liter direct injection engine.
Honda declared that by adopting new-generation powertrain technologies, the Vezel delivers both a dynamic driving character and excellent fuel economy for both models.
The Japanese model will be launched officially in Japan on December 20, 2013 and more details will be revealed in the next few weeks.
